International Wood Products (IWP) has announced that Mark Kleps has accepted a new position as Vice President of Specialty Wood Products (SWP).
The move takes effect August 1. Kleps comes to IWP with extensive industry experience, most recently as vice president of sales at Disdero Lumber, the company said.
IWP said Kleps brings excellent leadership skills from his 15-year career at Disdero and previous experience in factory sales and distribution.
Additionally, IWP said it expects significant growth in the coming years, both in terms of market share and geography, which requires a strong and committed management team.
“Mark will be a valuable asset to our team,” said Jason Allen, Executive Vice President of IWP. “His experience, knowledge and professionalism will benefit IWP as we continue to grow in the West.”
Kleps said he was excited about this new opportunity and his new position at IWP.
“I am honored to join such an experienced and respected organization,” Kleps said. “I look forward to helping build on the great work that is underway and growing our market share.”
Based in Clackamas, Oregon, IWP is a full-service, independent stocking distributor and manufacturer of quality building materials providing services to building materials suppliers in the Western United States.
Last week, IWP announced that Aaron George has accepted a position with the company as senior vice president of sales starting August 1.
